The Edv-2200 is the most recent addition to the Eva-dry line. Using the same “Peltier” technology as the Edv-1100 (its smaller counter part) , it quietly absorbs moisture at a much more effective rate, as well as from a larger area. Once the Edv-2200 has reached its capacity, there is an indicator light that will alert you that the reservoir needs to be emptied and the unit will turn itself off. This is a perfect item if you are having a hard time dealing with mold or mildew in your bathroom, on your boat or R.V. or in your house.

This mini dehumidifier has been design to adsorb moisture from small enclosed areas (maximum area: 10’x 10′). It will help protect clothes and valuables from the damaging effects of mold/mildew and moisture rot. It is 100% renewable and needs no power to operate. Just hang the eva-dry unit in a closet, or you can place it in other small enclosed spaces, and it will start to adsorb moisture. There are no batteries required or cords to plug in, the unit works without power. There is an indicator window with special “moisture meter crystals” that change from orange (when dry) to green (when wet) to indicate when the unit needs to be “renewed”. The unit will adsorb approximately 8 to 10 ounces of moisture (depending on humidity levels this should take between 3 – 8 weeks). Once the moisture has been adsorbed it cannot leak or spill. This unit uses a specialized engineered crystallized silica gel that is odorless, non-toxic and completely safe. When the indicator crystals turn Green it is time to “re-new” the unit. Simply remove the unit from where it is adsorbing moisture and plug it into a power outlet.

How did you come up with the idea for this product?

A love of good beer, and a desire the make the experience better. We’re beer lovers living in a beer region. Who knows which came first, the love or the beer, but as engineers we recognized the need for a better solution. We decided to focus our skills and efforts on this endeavor.

What makes your product special?

After testing all the available options, we realized nobody had cracked the code on a pressurized growler that works. So we designed the uKeg: It’s easy to use, with an automatic regulator cap and integrated CO2, variable carbonation from zero (off) up to 15 psi, and a dispensing tap so you can easily pour beer without removing the cap. It also has a liquid sight glass, an ergonomic handle, and it’s easy to clean.

What has been the best part of your startup experience?

Ideas are fun and creative, and turning those ideas into high quality products is challenging. We’ve focused our deep engineering and design experience to produce a high quality product. It takes a lot of work and coordination to get it right, and we’re proud when our beer-loving customers are happy.

The Coldpour 2 kegerator tower cooler draws cold air from the bottom of the kegerator and pushes it into the beer tower. This helps prevent the beer from warming/foaming up in the line. It also helps keep the entire kegerator at a more even temperature.
