When the Rusco filter is full of sediment, simply open the ball valve to flush the sediment. Rusco water filtration systems are made from molded non-corrosive materials. If you have a standard Rusco Spin-Down model that is 1-1/2″ or 2″, you can covert it to a Rusco Sediment Trapper model by replacing the filter screen element with a sediment trapper filter.
