The unique process allows the cartridge to effectively reduce sediment while providing a high flow rate. The cartridge lasts up to six months before replacement.

The cartridge is manufactured by 3M Purification Inc. (3MPITM), formerly CUNO Incorporated. It has a flow rate of up to 45 gallons/170 liters per minute.
