It features three color LEDs for at-a-glance status updates. A green LED lights constantly when AC power is present, and it flashes every 7 seconds when in battery mode. An amber LED illuminates during a CO incident, while a red LED flashes in unison with the audible alert for both a smoke or CO incident. A digital display allows constant monitoring of carbon monoxide levels and updates every 15 seconds to let you know if levels change. Turn sensitivity dial downward (-) slightly until alarm stops and 1st LED just turns off. Now, any small increase of gas level (as from a leak!) will cause the alarm to sound.
-If alarm sounds prematurely, sensitivity needs to be decreased to prevent false alarms.
